What We Do:
Netball:
During 2006-07 the NASCA Netball program funded Indigenous Development Officers in Dubbo, NSW and Perth, WA. Our support has enabled netball programs to be delivered throughout western NSW and in various regions in WA.
As part of the Grassroots Programs (Yirra Djinda) in WA, school clinics have been conducted by role model, Bianca Franklin in Dowerin (her hometown), Tamin, Kellerberrin and Northam. Other intensive netball clinics, coaching and umpiring courses have been run in Bunbury, Kalgoorlie/Boulder Community School, Kalgoorlie, Kambalda and Leonora.
Our Netball program activities and sporting role models always focus on the key NASCA messages of leading healthy lifestyles and persisting with education.
